In honor of the founder of the Knights of Columbus, Blessed Father Michael J. McGivney, the Queen of Peace KC Council #3428 will be hosting and sponsoring the following Family Week events, which will run from August 6th to August 13th.
Sunday, August 6 – Foodtown Food Drive for the QP Food Pantry, 10:00AM to 2:00PM

Monday, August 7 – Family Eucharistic Adoration, 4:00PM
Held in QP Church, all families are invited to join for a Family Eucharistic Adoration. We will recite a Rosary to ask Our Lady’s blessings for our families, pray the Litany of St. Joseph (the Patron Saint of Fathers and Protector of Families), and say the prayer of Blessed Father McGivney for personal intentions. There will also be opportunity for Reconciliation.
Wednesday, August 9 – Family Movie Night, 6:00PM
Held in Knights of Columbus Hall, cost for the movie is free, and refreshments are provided. Please RSVP for the event by contacting the Grand Knight, Bill Mackey. His information along with the event will be in the movie flyer below.
Thursday, August 10 – Summer Blood Drive, 3:00PM to 7:00PM

Sunday, August 13 – Blessed Father McGivney Feast Day Prayer Hour, 1:00PM
Also held in QP Church, all families and individuals are invited to join us in an hour of prayer for personal intentions to Blessed Father McGivney. We will be reciting the Luminous Mysteries, saying the Litany of Father McGivney, and praying for his canonization to Sainthood.
