At Confirmation, we receive a special Grace by which our faith is deepened and strengthened, so that it will be strong enough not only for our own needs but for the needs of others with whom we shall try to share it.

To serve as a sponsor:
They must be practicing Catholics.
They must be Confirmed and at least 16 years of age.
If they are married, they must be married in the Catholic Church.
Generally, they cannot be your parents or your legal guardians.
They are someone you feel comfortable talking with about your faith and God.
Sponsor Certificate
If the Sponsor is NOT a parishioner of Queen of Peace, they must reach out to their registered parish and request a Letter of Good Standing OR a Sponsor Certificate. This letter/certificate must contain the Pastor’s signature and the parish’s official seal. Photocopies will NOT be accepted.
