First Eucharist

In the Holy Communion, through the instrumental power of the Priest and the invocation of the Holy Spirit, the bread and wine is consecrated to become the Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

First Communion is ordinarily celebrated during the Easter season and received by second grade students who have been given the appropriate religious instruction and have received the Sacrament of Reconciliation. No one can be presented to receive their First Communion without a valid Baptismal Certificate.
